Best advice ever given to you?: Never let school get in the way of your education.

Are you supersticious?: No not really, but you wont see me dancing on graves or anything, I believe karma over superstition.

Is being a super cool skier what you expected?: Not at all, I just thought you got good at skiing and it all came to you, naive to say the least. But there has also been bonuses I didnt expect either, like the amount of new friends I pick up each season and the avenues that open up say like with filming and self edits which I find super interesting.

Whats one thing people don't know about you?: I can crotchet bikinis when the mood takes me, just send me your measurements, seriously.

Who or what inspires you outside of skiing?: I love the way good surfers attack a lip or bank and that is something I really try use in my skiing. People that have pushed through adversity to make a good life for themselves and others inspires me to do the best I can as I am so lucky to have opportunities like this.

If you could be any animal what would it be?: A Kea, a mountain parrot native to NZ, its got brilliant orange feathers under its wings, they are cheeky as and rip cars apart with their beaks.

Most underrated skier?: Chris Benchetler.

Quote you live by?: A quote isnt really something to live by, life aint that simple. How about the eternal cheese of treat others as you would like to be treated.

Best trip ever?: This season bouncing around Europe would have to take it. I love it here huge, steep mountains with so much good snow, great competitions and sweet photoshoots. My first time to Japan was uber special as well though.

What are your summer plans?: Ive kicked this summer off in style with some adventures through Denmark and Sweden and am about to head down to Antibes in France to take on some new challenges in working on the boats there for summer. I will head home to NZ in August to catch up with my family and friends and compete in the NZ OPEN and Im hoping to get a spot on the famous World Heli Challenge at Mt Cook but we shall see! Then back to Copenhagen to find a job there before the ski season kicks off again.

One day, you, a helicopter, powder. Who do you take?: It would be a toss up between a legend or a mate. So maybe either Seth Morrison or Fraser McDougall, a grommit from home who I showed around Europe and killed it til he bust himself up.

Biggest fear?: Avalanches no question. doesnt help that im claustrophobic.

Best snowmobile story?: Out on the beers in Squaw Valley with some mates and ended up putting together a deal with Shane McConkey for his sled. Woke up in the morning and realised that would be the rest of my money for the season but apparently everyone knew I couldnt go through with it but me! RIP Shane

Fly or drive?: Definetly a man of the road and it always seems much more of a true journey when you see it unfold out in front of you, instead of just popping up in a new country off a plane.

Surf or skate?: I would take sharks over concrete anyday so surfing for sure!
